Question about Motorola Mobility L6 Cellular Phone

Can't send text messages

Just got this phone today used, and unlocked, and i sent one message, and now i can't send any more.. i was tinkering in the settings menu.. did i change something that needs to be changed back?

some reason there was a "P" at the end of the message centre number.. i erased it, and tried, and now it works fine.. thanks.. why is everything spelled weird on this phone? is it foreign? ex: centre, personalise, etc..

i can't send messages.after 3 characters, my L6 will shut off or hang.hmp!

Yes u need to check message settings, message centre no. and If doesn't works at all, select network as manual reinsert sim try .

This is because when you send a text message it gets stored in the outbox and it wil be sent.As there is no memory in the phone the message sent cannot be stored up in outbox which says memory full.

Please delete the images ,music files from the phone memory so that you can sent the text messages with photos.

Hello,

Follow this to see if the settings of text message is in order.

Go to your message on your phone, press to open, press the option button and scroll to settings, press to open, you will see test messages, press to open, select message center in use, makesure it is the sim msg center that is in use, press to save.

You power your phone off after you have save the settings and power on back after a minute.

Your messages should be able to be sent.

Can send texts from sciphone but people arent getting them help!

if there's over 200 messages in your inbox and you have a new message it won't show you until you've deleted your inbox.
as for the other problem i haven't had that yet sorry.

check and make sure your outbox is not full this could prevent you from being able to send messages

Cannot remove number in the sent IM menu of the LG Rumour

Click on messaging icon from main menu.
Click send message.
Instead of clicking text message click on pic/video message.
then you have 4 options TO: CONTACTS , TO Mobile#, To Email, And finally To Recent lict. Click on recent list and checkmark all the numbers you want deleted then click options bottom right corner then click delete.....

Won't send or receive text messages.

I had the same problem twice when I changed service on the phone, once when I asked to change from a fixed rate for 200 messages per month to pay-per-use and the second time when I changed phones out with the same number. They just turned off my text messaging and I had to call to have them reactivate it. Help this helps.

easy go on messages, go down to settings, click on text messages, then on profile settings, then click first one and in put you service centre number

Check message center no.(Service provider will provide u ) , message sent as (Should be "text"),message validity (max. time), replay via same center no.(No)
