My Lexmark P4350 printer is not scanning images to my computer?

You can download the Lexmark P4350 driver from the Lexmark website at http://bit.ly/bETkq1. Select your operating system, download the driver, execute the file and follow the instructions on your computer screen.
However, the Lexmark OCR scan software(only available on the installation disc) may not be part of the downloadable driver. If you're still not able to scan due to this reason, please contact Lexmark technical support for additional assistance.

Visit the Lexmark website for the Lexmark P4350 drivers. Click on this link: Lexmark P4350 Drivers. Click on "change OS" to select your operating system. (see image below)


Then click on "FILTER". (see image below)


Click on the driver under "Recommended Downloads". Download and install the file. Follow the instructions in the software. Thanks.

Hi. It would really help a lot if you also have the installation cd for the printer. The scan software can be installed using the cd. I believe it's not available for download on the internet since it's a big file. Hope this helps.

You will need to uninstall and reinstall the printer driver. Please follow the steps given below:

To uninstall, please follow the steps given below:

1. Click "Start" and "All Programs."
2. Go to the "Lexmark P4300 series."
3. Click "Lexmark Uninstall."
4. Click "Next."
5. Click "Finish."
6. Click "Restart Windows" and unplug the Usb cable.

To download the Lexmark P4350 Vista driver, please follow the steps given below:

1. Click on "Downloads." tab next to Publications and click on "Driver for Microsoft Windows Vista." Click on "Download.
2. On the "File Download" screen, choose "Save."
3. The next screen will be titled "Save As." Choose to "Save in Desktop" and click "OK."
4. You should see files being transferred.

****Note**** If your browser uses a different file downloading format than specified above, you will need to resort to your browsers help files for downloading instructions. The object of steps 1 - 4 is to download the driver to your desktop. This way it is easily accessible.

5. Once the files have completed downloading, double click on the icon with your file name.
6. On the "Win Zip Self-Extractor" screen click "OK." To unzip the downloaded file choose "Unzip."

Note: Please plug the USB cable when prompted while installing the driver. The USB cable should still be removed from the system, and the on-screen prompts will remind you of this. Eventually, you will get to a screen asking you to plug in the USB cable. This screen also has an "OK" button. Do not hit this button yet. First, plug in the USB cable. The screen should automatically detect and install the Lexmark P4350 scanner and printer drivers.

These are the steps that are in the manual:
- Have it on the scanner setting (by pressing the big silver button on the left)
- Press page preview
- Press the colour or black print button (which are also known as the 'start' buttons)
- Then it should link it to your computer.

But, if your in the same ituation as me, ive followed all the steps and it still doesnt send it to my printer... its so irritating. Im thinking my one is just broken or something.

Reinstall using downloaded driver:

The Downloaded software may not have the Lexmark Imaging Studio on the downloaded drivers.... In this case u have to scna and Preview the scanned images using Windows Photo Gallery..... Click on File and Click on Import from scanner or Camera........... Then again click on Import...........It will scan and preview the Applications to u.... Thanku.......

I had same problem on windows vista.
Went to c:\drivers\printer\4300\applications\setup.exe
and Yippee it worked!

Try starting the scan from the PC. You can use either the Lexmark All-In-One Center application, (Look under Lexmark 4300 Series in your Start Menu). This will give you a little better control of where the scanned image is being stored on your computer.
