Just follow socket no, and you need AM2 socket supported processor,here speed not the factor. For more details follow the bellow link please.When your processeor suport AM2 socket no problem.But don't buy Am3 socket supported processor.It will be wrote down on processor box.
have you tryed to look for download for the on board lan some times you have to do search for that go to google and type in the motherboard name but type in download for drivers for on board lan and then your motherborad name. sometimes thay send a cd with it for all the componits on the motherboard .

Swap out the power supply. Make sure your PSU has a 24 pin ATX connector & (not a 20) pin & a 4 pin ATX_12v connector for the CPU.
