Question about Sony KV-35S42 35" TV

Wont go on

My sony just stand by with no picture no sound just a click

Without any warning, the same model shows same problem ... clicks on, flashes red light, but no sound and no picture. (Model kv-35s42 35" TV)

What is problem or likely cost to diagnose/repair?

resolder the crt circuit and also the video circuit,or find the trouble in the video circuit if there's an open resistor..

a sony should only blink up to 8 times. If its continuous without any pause that usually means No reply from the jungle (data bus is busy, shorted to ground or held
high), IK video path is defective.
Count your blinks again. let me know.

I own a Sony T.V. model #KV36HS510, Serial # 9024184,Event# E36002407 and it"s aTrinitron brand name. Like the problems before no picture or sound, stand by light on front of unit flashes. When trying to turn it back on you can hear the power click, like it wants to turn on, but does not.

2000 27" Sony Wega

Sony has a code for those blinks indicating the problem area. Count the blonks till the pause then google Sony blink codes for the area to fix.
