Projectors works well but suddenly giving black and white video and after some times comes colors then again black and white

Check your HDMI/VGA cable this is sometimes cause the color lost. change it or try another cable...

I have a Sanyo SVGA DLP PDG-DSU30 projector. There are small white spots with some black on the screen projection. I'm not sure if its fungus in the lens. Can I remove the lens for cleaning or is it a...
Not many funguses can thrive under the intense heat from the lamp. The Ultraviolet light that the lamp produces reacts with the plastic lamp housing and deposits a film on the optics and color wheel. They can be cleaned with water. I would not use any chemicals on the optics or color wheel since they leave a residue behind.

I am looking for a manual for my projector and wanting to know if a xbox360 can be plugged into it. We are also getting white and black spots on the screen?
Yes you can plug in your xbox into it. A manual can be found online for a price but to find a free one will take some digging. Black spots are usually a dirty lens but with white spots there will have to be more digging.

Sanyo PLC-SW20 projector lamp light is red,what does this mean
Possible that the lamp had crossed the time limit and so needs to be replaced.

While watching my sharp dt - 510 projector the picture changed to black & white and start to jitter.... color has not returned after restart...60% bulb life used...
That will happen as the projector loses syncronisation with the in coming video.
Check the leads and connectors for poor contact. The lamp will not give that effect.

My projector was working fine until it started showing the videos in black and white. my source is my dvd player, which seems to be working fine w/ my tv. i tried playing around with the color settings on...
if I had to guess, I'd say your colorwheel is caput. If you have color on other sources though, it is likely your cables.

When linked to my laptop, the Sanyo PDG-DSU21N Projector will not project on the screen. It keeps searching for computer/ s video...etc. When I click on Menu, I do not have an option to select...
You need to send your laptop signal to your projector by pressing the FN key and the key that says CRT/or an icon of a screen (this is located at the top of your keyboard). 3l toggles will give you different images. i.e. projector image only, projector image and laptop image or just the laptop and not projector image.

Problem with eyeclops video projector...after
unplug all rca cables from your eyeclops, then try all three colors one at a time, into the yellow colored hole on the side of your eyeclops, until you get a picture, and you have to have the dvd player on and playing a dvd, otherwise the light won't come on your projector, then plug in the audio sources, the yellow and white. When I got my eyeclops mini projector, it wouldn't work at all when I plugged the yellow rca cable in the yellow hole on the side of the eyeclops, the red into the red, and the white into white. Only when I placed the red rca cable into the yellow hole on the eyeclops, the yellow into the red hole, and the white rca cable into the white hole did it finally work. That was for my dvd player. With the video game function, I plugged each color Rca cable into their same colored holes on the eyeclops and it worked fine, but again, you have to have your device, whether it be a dvd player or game system on and running before your eyeclops led lights will turn on. Not sure I had to switch colors when I played my dvd player, but that's how it works on my mini projector, anyways.

Thin vertical line appears on projector
I have found that vertical lines that suddenly appear from projectors are due to poorly connected cables. Sut off your projector and wait for the fan to go off. Then unplug the connectors from the computer to the projector and secure them again, making sure to go all the way. Hope this helps.

s-video carries luminance and chromanance. In simple terms, luma provides a a black and white picture, chroma the color data. without chroma, you get no color. Either - the cable is bad (usually in the form of bent/broken pins in the connector ends - the source device is bad - the projector input is bad
