Intel P/N :PA3362U-1MPC driver

Here's the link to download the driver. When you get to the web page, look for the large green download button on the right-side of the page near the bottom.

I have a abit 1c7g motherboard intel 3.2ghz processor twin western digital raptors sata raid 0 config ... 1 sony dru 710a on ide 1 (slave) trying to install plextor 880sa dvd burner having conflict with...

Suggest you connect the plextor to the SATA port 3 and set it's jumper to Master. All SATA drives are seen as Master drives. (Check the serial number on your WD SATA drive "Primary".
Enter the bios menu. Within page 3-7 section 3-3 Advanced bios features. Check, 1st, 2nd and third boot devices.
Floppy disk drive as, 1st boot device. 2nd boot device, "Primary WD SATA port 1". 3rd boot device, CD-ROM drive SATA port 2, Plextor 880sa drive". Save and exit the bios. If you no longer have you're manual you can download it from the link provided below;
http://ftp.abit.com.tw/pub/download/fae/ic7-g_eng_v101.pdf
Check page 3-13. See OnChip serial ATA Mode. As noted, the RAID option is available when the item "OnChip serial ATA" is set as [Enhanced Mode].

How do i restore a medion laptop back to factory settings as we have the discs but we have a detachable cd/dvd disc drive. so really struggling to reset things

I will have to assume "detachable" means USB. You will need to enter the motherboard's BIOS setup program --- this is typically accomplished by pushing a key or keys as soon as possible after pushing the power button. Key DEL, F2 or F10 are most likely, but usually the system *tells* you ... look for something like "Press F2 to run setup".

Once you enter the BIOS setup program, look for "Advanced BIOS Features", which is usually the 2nd option in the left column (navigate using your arrow keys and press ENTER/RETURN to select). Using the arrow keys, move to "1st boot device" and select "USB" or "Removable Device". If you don't see either under "1st Boot Option", then *disable* all boot devices (1st boot device, 2nd boot device, etc.) but *enable* "Boot Other Device". This should force your motherboard to boot from the USB CDROM.

If your CDROM is *not* USB, then I'm afraid I've paddled up the wrong creek :-(

Hope this helps!

My pc was doing this but now it's doing something different but simular

Try telling it to boot the CD instead of the disk for now, since you need to install from that...or perhaps a newer OS.
