I have Samsung SyncMaster 920n Monitor recently purchased. I have a problem that I have a Vertical green bar on left side of the monitor about 1 ½ inch it coming few minutes after power on. It is slowly appearing with crispy effect and getting full vertical line a line. It is less then a year I bought this monitor is it under warranty but I lost the bill please some one help to resolve this problem,

Samsung products does not require u to produce a bill during warranty, ur product info will be registered in the database of the customer care center. So you can go in and get ur claim with the warranty. And the about the green lines, it could be that something is wrong with your graphics adapter.
This discoloration problem occurs commonly in every1 s pc ... this problem occurs due to the nearby magnetic field emitting appliances just like speakers... so what u have to do is u must keep some gap with the speakers from the monitors & after that press menu button on ur monitor and give degauss.... this will solve your problem....

Left half of my monitor goes either black or some times with different color bands grouped in the left half only.One local mechanic solved the problem but after two months it is back again.Samsung people said the panel has to be changed which is costing almost the same price as the new one, but a local guy could atleast rectify it for some time. One friend said that that LCD monitors are not capable of handling high resolution PC games.I do not know why it happens. Anyone who have some idea? [email protected]
