    It's actually an updated one. Your apple store sells them as well. Make sure you blow the vents out at least monthly with a can of compressed air. The cooling fins inside get bloced with dust. Blow it out with the lid open and the computer off.

Ever since I switched from PC to Mac, I cannot play any games on yahoo.com. Upon screen loading, it freezes and requires force quit. Any ideas?

make sure you have a latest version of flash, and you may also want to try a different browser like firefox or camino. you can download camino at Caminobrowser.org. I actually prefer it over safari, although I prefer safari over anything MS has ever created.

How to view full screen browser

In short, it's not built in to Safari. You can either install a plug-in for Safari or try a different web browser such as Firefox or Camino.

Some plugins that may help:
  1. Saft (http://haoli.dnsalias.com/Saft/index.html) adds a new preference pane in Safari called Saft, and two extra menu items under Safari menu, just above the "Preferences...", called "Full Screen" and "Max Screen".
  2. Megazoomer (http://ianhenderson.org/megazoomer.html) will install for any program (not just Safari for web browsing) and allows you to put any window full screen.
Other browsers to use instead of safari include:
  1. Firefox (http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/internet_utilities/mozillafirefox.html)
  2. Camino (http://caminobrowser.org/)
I believe both of those browsers allow for full screen functions.

I have a mac and I can't load my facebook page at all and my youtube is not able to play video although I can still open the page.

Thank you for contacting Fixya Support, I am glad to assist.

Depending on your web browser, you first should clear the Cache of the select web browser and then reset the browser.

I would also recommend you try this simple procedure I am providing you from MacOSX.com forum regarding the inability to launch or load Facebook:
Link: Cannot Load Facebook on my Mac

In regards to video suggest you try, depending on the web browser you have (Safari or Firefox) is to check the Add-ons of that browser, for any updated plug-ins for viewing Youtube videos.

If you are accustomed to using just one browser, experiment with different browsers.

The most commonly used web browsers for Mac OS X are:

* Safari (Built-in web browser from Apple direct)

* Firefox (Developed by Mozilla)

* Camino (Developed by Mozilla)

* Opera (Developed by Opera Software)

For your current web browser, if you want to keep working on the video playback for your Youtube, you should clear the Cache of the web browser and reset your browser.

These are some general practices to resolving the stated issues you are having with launching Facebook and loading YouTube videos.

Let me know if this helps.

I can open internet explorer, but my weather and skype programs are working normal, I know I have a god connection, also when I try to access the internet options to change my browser it just blinks then...

As of December 31, 2005, Microsoft no longer provided support for Internet Explorer for Mac.

As a result, Microsoft recommended all users of IE for Mac, use either Safari, or any other 3rd party, Mac compatible browser. Here are 3 of the more popular made for Mac browsers, widely used with Macs as well as Safari 4.0:
  • Firefox for Mac v3.6
  • Camino for Mac v2.0.1
  • Opera for Mac v10.10
All of these browsers are free downloads and are easy to via Google or any other web search engine you like to use.

Because you should have Safari built in, I would recommend you access that web browser, by going into Finder > Applications> Safari and launching that web browser.

This should enable you to continue surfing online, despite the IE setback.

Let me know if this data is helpful to you.

Thanks!

Safari, firefox use diffrent java plugin then your system has thus upgrading the java on the machine will fix this 9 times out of 10. If not a good recovery is in order to flush the corupted registery it has that is making these browsers act as they do.
