Printer still wont work...

I recently contacted you online and told you about my "unable to clean"

error.. was told to clean out the ink waste tank and we did that along

with manually cleaning the print head.  Machine is back together and

still says unable to clean.... we did the "reset"
code and it cleared it but we are still unable to clean... AUUGH.

I am about to throw this in the trash and NEVER buy another brother printer!

You've printed a lot, havent you?

It seems that you have to reset the flush counter, too. The flushing box is the 2nd reason for an error unable to clean. This is the small softbox on the left hand side where the printhead runs acorss for before it starts printing. You dont have to change the flushing box. Its OK to do a reset only:

Call up maintanance modus. press 8 then 0 then several times start mono until FLUSH XXXXXXXXXX (where X are No.) appears. Press the reset code again. After leaving the maintanance mode your mfc should work without a problem.

BTW: What exactly did you do with the waistinktank? I hope you have replaced it by a new one!

In case you have cleaned with water and reinstalled it,  the tank wont take up ink anymore! The ink will flow into the machine and the sensor will give you the error code again (That could be another reason why you still have the error code!)

Please be careful and buy a new one as a sparepart from a service partner who can be found on the brother homepage of your country!

My Cannon pixma 280 printer wont print it says error 5B00 What can I do?

The reason behind the canon printer error 5b00 is when the system continuously fills the ink tank and the printer stops to absorb that and hence we come to face this error.

Here are few steps which will help you in fixing canon printer error 5b00:

1.Reset The Waste Ink System Count First: the first method to solve this error is to reset the waste ink. By applying this method you can get out of the error which is troubling you.
2. Manually clean the Waste Ink Foam: to clean the waste foam you have to open the front cover of the printer. Now you have to remove the cartridges one by one and then clean the rollers. Now check whether your error is gone or not.

So, these are the steps to solve the error. If you found the error is still there, then you have to visit an expert.

Canon BJC- 1000 LPT 1 printer. STATUS: the used ink tank is full. printer not performing.

HI,

Your printer has a built-in waste ink tank for the ink used during print head cleaning. As time goes by, the waste ink tank gradually fills. When the waste ink tank is nearly full, you should receive a "Waste ink warning" error when you print. Press the RESUME button on the printer to cancel the error so you can continue printing. Before the waste ink tank becomes completely full, have the waste ink tank replaced.

What are printer error messages 4F and 48 on Bother MFC-J430W wireless printer

Error 4F and Error 48.
Actual Message will be:
Unable To Init 4F
Unable To Clean 48

These messages indicate the Waste Ink Tank is full.
This is the space in your machine that will store all the ink that is used in cleaning the printhead. Once this is full the only way to continue printing is reset the Purge Counter and clean out the Waste Ink Station. If you do the reset and not he cleaning of the waste ink station you will eventually end up with the waste ink tank overflowing and leaving a huge mess to clean up. If you clean out the tank but not reset the purge counter it won't work till then.

Unless you are satisfied with your ability to dismantle and reassemble your printer you may want to just replace it as it can take some time and causes alot of mess.

Printer que " unable to clean see troubleshooting in manual"

Unable to clean usually means the waste ink tank is full, the only repair is to replace the tank, aprox. $10.00 and reset the counter to clear the error. If you clear the error without a new tank you risk ink overflow inside the machine and on your table...
