My washing machine is beeping and showing the key light and not turning on. The door opens though but it seems to be saying its locked!? It doesn't show the cycle time either. How can i get it to go...

Hello, welcome to FixYa.

I'll start by saying your post indicates it is a Bosch, but you didn't specify the model number. It sounds like the "child lock" selection has been activated, either intentional or accidental.

To reset it on many Bosch it is as follows...(if this fails, please provide your model number)

1) Press the "menu" button until you see "CHILD LOCK :ON" appear in the display. ( if nothing is pressed within 10 sec.following this the menu will close and it will default to program in the display )

2) Once you see what I just mentioned in the display press the "select" button until "CHILD LOCK :OFF" appears in the display.

3) Finally by pressing the "start/pause" button the key symbol should disappear confirming you have successfully exited the child lock program.

**Many times you can also push and hold the start key for several seconds and this too will deactivate the selection...on various models**

Let me know if this was helpful to you or not, if so please take a second and rate it accordingly and a short testimony is also appreciated.

Thank you for choosing FixYa. I'll need to watch for your reply if that doesn't work or before moving forward.

Regards,

Macmarkus :)

Can't find a code for my ATT Uverse remote. Bought the set in China and brought it back to the US.

Hi! Welcome to FixYa!

You can program your AT&T U-Verse remote control using the Automatic Code Finder. This step cycles through all possible codes for the type of TV you are programming until the correct code has been found. Please follow the steps bellow.
  1. Make sure that the TV you want the AT&T U-verse remote control to control is ON.
  2. With your TV on, PRESS AND HOLD DOWN, the TV Mode Key on the remote control. The mode keys are located at the top of the U-verse remote control. While holding down the TV Mode Key, press and release the OK button. If done correctly the Mode Keys will blink twice. The remote is now ready to be programmed.
  • The next step is to enter the code for the automatic code finder feature. That code is 922. Enter the code 922 using the Remote Control's keypad. You have 10 seconds to enter this code before the remote times out. When 10 seconds have elapsed the Mode Keys will flash once. If this happens just start over.
  • Next steps is start the automatic code finder search. Make sure you aim your remote control at your TV. Then press and release the play button on the remote control. Now press the Fast Forward key multiple times until the TV turns off. Then press Enter to save the code. Your remote now has the correct code. If done successfully the Mode buttons will flash three times. Press the Power button again to turn on your TV.
  • When the code has been entered correctly, the appropriate Mode Key will flash three times. To check to see if this code works, press the Power button. If the TV or DVD does not turn off, then we need the correct 4-digit code of your TV.

Need a remote for Symphonic tv

should be171,179 or 180 Turn on your TV.
On your Tune In remote, press TV and release.
Press and hold Set until the green light on Tune In blinks once, pauses and then blinks twice. Now release the Set key.
Enter the first three-digit TV code for your Symphonic from the list which follows:
    171, 179, 180
These codes are listed in order of popularity, and the green light will blink twice if you perform this procedure correctly.
Aim Tune In at your TV and press Power. Your TV should turn off. If it does not, repeat steps 2-5, trying each code listed in step 4 until you find the one that operates your TV.

Press the Power key to turn on the TV, then press mute, channel scan ("CH") and volume ("VOL") keys. Tune channels 7 and 11 by entering the number followed by the Enter key.
If your TV does not pass the test, return to Step 2 at the top of this page. Enter the next three-digit code and repeat the process.

I need a remote code for a emerson lcd lc195em82

    1. Manually turn on the component you want the remote to
control (TV, VCR, DVD, satellite receiver or cable box).
Note: If you press an invalid key during the Auto Code
Search, the remote does not respond and the illuminated
ON•OFF key does not blink. If you do not press a valid
Auto Code Search key (TV, VCR•DVD, SAT•CBL, ON•OFF,
GO BACK, PLAY, REVERSE, STOP), the search times out
after two minutes. When the search times out, the illuminated
ON•OFF key blinks four times and turns off. The last
programmed code under that component key is retained.
    2. If you are programming your TV or satellite receiver, go
    directly to step 4.
    3. To program the remote to control a VCR or DVD. The
VCR•DVD key can control only one component, either your
VCR or your DVD. To program your remote to control
either your DVD or your VCR, you must first put the
remote in the proper programming mode. Follow these
directions before proceeding to step 4.
    a. Press and hold the VCR•DVD key.
    The illuminated ON•OFF key
    turns on.
    b.While holding down the
    VCR•DVD key, press and release
the number 2 key on the keypad to
control a VCR or the number 3 key
to control a DVD. The illuminated
ON•OFF key blinks, and then turns
    back on.
    c.Release the VCR•DVD key.
    The illuminated ON•OFF key
blinks four times and then turns
off. Your remote is now either in
    VCR or DVD Programming Mode,
    depending on which you chose.
    Proceed to step 4.
    4. Press and hold the component key
    (TV, VCR•DVD, SAT•CBL) you wish
    to program. The illuminated ON•OFF
key turns on and remains on.
    5. While holding the component key
down, press and hold the ON•OFF

then wait five seconds to see if
your component turns off. If your
    component does not respond,
continue to press the PLAY key
    every five seconds until your
component turns off. Each time you
press the PLAY key, the illuminated
ON•OFF key blinks and a block of
10 codes are sent to your component.
This process continues until all of
the codes in the Code Lists have
    been searched. (If your component
has not turned off after all codes have
    been searched, the illuminated
ON•OFF key blinks four times and
turns off. The Auto Code Search
    Entry method is exited.)

    11. To confirm that the component key is programmed with the
correct code for maximum functionality, test the component.
Attempt to control a variety of the component’s functions
with the remote. If some of the features of your components
do not work, try programming the remote with a different
code in the list until you find the code that allows the remote
to control the majority of your component’s functions.
Different codes can provide different levels of functionality.
