Replace your keyboard. My guess is something got spilt on the control key on your keyboard and now it is sticking.

I keep hear noises through my computer speakers that sounds like a camera shutter, it is not constant, nor does it happen regularily or when I do anything particular. Just every nor and again I hear the...

It sounds like you have interference coming into your speakers that has nothing to do with your computer or any software. Do you have a modem or router or anything with BLINKING LIGHTS nearby? Less likely problems are disc players, tape players or anything with a motor, even the little ones that pull in and push out the discs.
The best way to troubleshoot is to move each piece of equipment you have within say, 10 feet of you speakers, the lead wires, or even the amp, and see which one makes it go away.

2001 Dodge Caravan dinging noise from dash area

Make sure your keys aren't hitting the dash or steering column. I've mistakenly thought something was wrong before when this happened then later discovered I was just being an idiot. :)

Hopefully someone else can suggest a more likely culprit.

SPEEDLITE 580EX TTL Flash: flash is making a constant beating/clicking noise ...

Loosen the two small screws under the flash on the swivel head. Turn flash on. You may need to twist the head just slightly. Flash bulb moves back and forth in the swivel head when zooming. If you dropped the flash, this may have jarred it from the track. I had the same problem with mine, and the above solution fixed it. Zoom works again and no clicking noise. Let me know.

Need drivers for Canon MP530 on Kubuntu I have an alarm light on and the in use/memory light keeps flashing. Also I hear a clicking noise constantly

The clicking noise is because your telephone line cord (from the wall) should be plugged into the "L:" port on the machine -- not the port with the icon of a phone next to it.

If you're not using a telephone cord, make sure your USB cord is not plugged into the telephone jack on the machine (it has been known to happen).

Don't know of any sources for Linux drivers.

Elura 60 doesn't take still pictures

I had a similar problem with zoom being stuck and also not being able to take a still. I tried the suggestion of whacking it in the area of the zoom and photo button and it started working.

I just tapped it with two fingers. Sounds odd but it worked. good luck
