Most oven doors are made to be removed and on most, the hinges have locking clips which hold the hinge so you can remove the door. Have a close look at the hinge which is still in the door and see if the hinge that came out is the same. You may have to get someone to hold the hinge in place while you refit the door.
Most oven doors can be removed by opening door and pulling straight out. The hinges are attached to the oven frame not to the door. Some oven doors have screws that are attached to the hinges at the bottom of the door on the inside that need to be removed, then pull straight out.
I understand you are having trouble putting the door back on your Frigidaire wall oven. Without knowing exactly how you removed the door I cannot say with certainty how to reattach the door. However, when removing the door did you pull up the lock located on both hinge supports and engage it in the hinge lever hooks? You might have had to apply a little downward pressure on the door to pull the locks fully over the hinge lever hooks. Then grab the door by the sides and pull the bottom of the door up and toward you to disengage the hinge supports. If so, then to reattached the door grab the door by the sides; place the hinge supports in the hinge slots. Open the door to the fully opened position. Disengage the lock from the hinge lever hooks on both sides. Make sure the hinge supports are fully engaged before unlocking the hinge levers. Then close the oven door. There are instructions with images to remove and replace the oven door in the owner's manual. I hope this information proves helpful for you.
the door is removed with the hinges in place. with the door open, lock the hinge sections together with the little clips on lowest hinge section. When locked, lift up on the door (not the handle) sides, swinging it up until it can be pulled out. Install in reverse order.
Open oven door. Flip metal holder down at hinge to lock hinge. Lift door with hinge attached up slightly and off oven. Reverse to re-install door, making sure notch at bottom of hinge is hooked in frame of oven properly.
Most if not all Thermador owners manuals have this outlined in them, however, here you go.
Removing the Oven Door
Fully open the oven door.
Raise the U-clip over the hook on each of the hinges to the "locked" position (see illustration below). This will prevent the hinge from snapping closed when the door is removed.
Grasp the door by the sides toward the back. Raise the front of the door several inches (there will be some spring resistance to overcome because of the hinge being locked). When the front of the door is high enough, you will be able to lift the hinges to clear the indents.
Pull the hinges out of the slots in the oven front frame.
To Replace the Oven Door
Grasp the sides of the door at the center and insert the ends of the hinges into the slots in the oven front frame as far as they will go (see illustration below).
With the door open all the way, lower the two locking clips.
Raise the oven door and make sure that it fits evenly with the front sides.
DOOR HINGE WARNING:
**CAUTION** With the door off, never release the levers and try to close the hinges. Without the weight of the door, the powerful springs will snap the hinges closed with great force.
Let me know how you make out or if anything is unclear. Thanks for choosing FixYa.
1. Open the oven door and remove the 2 screws at the side of the inner glass window 11cm above the hinges and lift off the door. Place it somewhere safe! 2. Remove the 4 screws that you can see nearest to the left and right edges of the oven with the door removed. These secure the oven to the kitchen unit. 3. Slide the oven forwards about 20cm out of the unit, being careful not to pull on the cable. 4. Each hinge is held in place by 2 screws at the side of the unit now exposed, about 18cm apart. Remove them and slide out the hinges. Reassembly is the reverse of the above. 5. Note that the hinges have no means of adjustment. If not working properly, renew them.
It might be because when the door was completely removed ( which they do rather easily for repairs and moving) it wasn't put back properly.
I would suggest you remove the oven door and re install.
You do not remove any screws or anything like that to remove the oven doors.
When you have the oven door open squeeze each hinge and shift then both outwards it will release the door from the hinge, the hinge stays on but the door will slide off the hindge. Afterwards check the alignment and reinstall the oven door
