I washed a load of clothes and the washer worked perfectly until the last 3 minutes where the washer does the final spin and all of sudden smoke pours out of the back of the washer and when I opened the door smoke pour from inside the washer.

It sound like a lid switch issue. If the lid switch is defective, your washer can't spin and may not function at all. The switch is inside the washing machine main housing near the door frame. Often you have to raise or open the top or front of the washer to get to the switch. Look that the switch is not broken or loose. If all is fine, you should replace the switch. Good luck!

THANK YOU. for those of you with a screw driver, here are the photos on how to.

It takes a philips screw driver and 20 minutes. The white screws may not align perfectly but don't worry, just get them to go back in the hole(no harm done).

I'm going to admit it was my wife that found this fix, so now I give the step by step photos.
