Check if your computer is not updating or some other software are using your netwrk to check that
press ctrl+alt with esc .

After that go to the networking tab please let me know whats the utilization for the network .

After that reinstall the sype

Do you have the installation CD of MS Office also his cover and everything? If yes check the labels on the cover. Im sure it is written..

Also check your cd if they gave you a genuine CD of the MS application.
