Question about Samsung SGH-t629 Cellular Phone

IT WONT TURN ON

The phone will flash the screen showing the model of the phone sometimes but it will not go beyond that screen and it will not turn on. it happened the other day, i got it to turn on while it charging but not even that trick will work now. i have taken out the battery and put it back in and to no avail.

Keeps showing lg screen and flashing

Android is corrupted. You need to factory reset it. Hold volume down and home buttons while turning it on. You can let go of those buttons once the screen changes to the Android loading icon.

This will erase everything from your phone - so good idea to keep things backed up for incase it happens again.

Near as I can figure, this happens when:
- phone battery is allowed to die
- pull battery from phone when it is still shutting down (hard to tell when it's finish)

Your screen somehow got switched to theatre/cinema mode. There is a setting on the remote that attributes to aspect ratio. Sometimes it is called "ASPECT". Look for it, and press it until your original screen aspect shows.

that is a general software error on the sony ericsson phones, the flashing screen is the phone trying to restore its software to operational status, kind of a self fix, your lucky if it has come back from that twice, as normaly thats it. try updating your software to the latest version and with any luck that will erase your problems, if not and the handsets under warranty you will need to get the handset replaced or repaired
