If you want to delete ALL the pictures, format the memory card by following the instructions on page 7.

The best way to delete all pictures is to format the memory, whether the internal memory or the memory card. Formatting wipes out all information and prepares the memory for further use, avoiding the potential problems that can come from repeatedly deleting individual pictures.

You'll find the format command in the Setup menu. To format the internal memory, remove the memory card first.

To delete all the pictures on the memory card, format the card. To delete all the pictures in the internal memory, format the internal memory.

Internal memory means the memory of the camera. Deleting the pictures in memory card will not solve the problem.
In the menu you will find a menu item as storage (or somewhat similar). Set this to internal memory. Then delete the pictures (or better, move all the pictures to memory card).
The above steps will correct the problem.

To delete individual pictures: while viewing the picture, tap the trash can icon on the screen, then tap yes when it asks for confirmation.

To delete all pictures on a memory card: format the card. TAP MENU, tap the wrench icon, select "Format card."

To delete all pictures in internal memory: format internal memory. Tap MENU, tap the wrench icon, select "Format memory."

Did you delete the pictures from the internal camera memory and not the SD card? An easy way to solve this problem would be to insert the card into your computer and open up "My Computer". In here you should see your memory card mounted as a usable drive. Open up the SD card, select everything in it by pressing "Control" + "A" and then hitting delete. This will clean everything off of the card. If you want to save the files from the card first, simply make a folder somewhere on your PC and drag all of the files from the SD card into that folder after pressing "Control" + "A". If you are still getting an error stating your card is full after removing them this way you may need to re-format the card or it may be malfunctioning.

Take out memory card, if any, from Sony DSC-S650 camera memory slot
Go to Menu, Settings and Format memory
This will delete all picture files in internal memory and refresh it for next few pictures.
Internal memory is not big to store many pictures, use memory stick in camera to store many many pictures.

Hi, do you have an external memory?If you do set download to go staight into ex.memory.
Why it show delete memory,is because your downloads get into the phone memory and it's filled up.

Just use an ex.memory that has large memory capacity, you will not see that messages again.

it could be that it is still saved in the cam memory or memory card, erase both.

Option Go to list of pictures and check any menus like(mark ,mark all.delete all ) if have option mark menu -just mark all pictures and select delete. opton

3.if you have delete all -just -delete all -it will delete all of your pictures in memory card

IF YOU REALLY delete all pictures and all datas
4.if you wish to do Formate the memory stick
now your Memory stick has Empty.
