You aren't being impatient and unhooking from the camera or card before it totally completes the transfer, are you?? That's the only thing I can think of, except for a loose connection. Make sure things are plugged in solid... then, be still... and don't be fooling with things until you're sure transfer is complete.

Testimonial: "No, the transfer is done by putting the SD card into the computer and downloading all pictures at once."

Youtube on my vizio 470i tv is off centered

CHANGING THE SCREEN ASPECT RATIO: ( From Manual )
The TV can display images in four different modes: Wide, Zoom, Panoramic, and Normal. Each mode displays the picture differently. To change the screen aspect ratio:
1. Press the MENU button on the remote.
2. Use the Arrow buttons to highlight the Wide icon. Press OK.
3. Use the Arrow buttons to highlight your desired screen mode and press OK:
• Normal preserves the content's original aspect ratio. Since the 4:3 aspect ratio is not large enough to fill the TV's screen, black bars are added to the left and right of the display image.
• Wide stretches a 4:3 aspect ratio picture to the edges of the screen. Since the picture is being stretched, the display image may appear distorted. If the program is already formatted for widescreen viewing (1.85:1 or 2.35:1), then black bars will appear on the top and bottom of the display image.
• Zoom expands images with black bars to fit the screen.
• Panoramic expands the display image to fill the screen.
images may appear wider than intended.
If you are watching widescreen (1.85:1 or 2.35:1) content, black bars will still appear on the top and bottom of the display image. This option is only available when the TV is displaying a 480i/480p source.

I have a panasonic lumix DMC FZ 45 and I cannot figure out how to take panoramic pictures. When I take pictures of the room or view it just keeps saying next, retake and exit. Can you help please?

Hi. In Scene>panorama assist, a grid is shown on screen and things get confusing!

1. The initial choice needs to be made between

left >right (for a sequence of shots made while 'panning' towards the right)

right >left.

down >up.

up >down.

e.g. if 'left >right' is selected:-

2. After the first shot has been taken, a preview is displayed without the grid.
- the 1st shot can be cancelled with 'retake', or saved for the sequence with 'next'.

3. If 'next' was selected a 'ghost', of what was in the right hand panel of the 1st image, will be shown on the left as an overlay in the LCD display, together with the grid.

The camera can now be panned to the right to try to align the ghost of the right part of the 1st shot with the left side of the new view. The 2nd shot can now be taken,

The combined image is shown, without the grid, which may or may not show good alignment of the 1st and 2nd images - so you can choose to 'retake' the 2nd image, or choose 'next' again.

If you choose 'next', it's back to no.3, above

....and so on until you choose exit, when the sequence can be transfered to PC for stitching with an image editing program.

Hope that helps!

Samsung syncmaster 914v monitor problem. right side of display is darker image. can see dots like a newspaper print or looking through a screen. when display is black it almost appears like an image is...

This is likely the LCD panel itself - you are describing a left/right image error that can be only created by the left/right division by the LCD driver wrapped around the outside of the LCD panel.
If your monitor uses a separate circuit board to drive the LCD, it could be this driver board.
Either way, it will require an LCD panel - $$$

How to overlay picture in D40x camera

Overlaying pictures, like almost all photo manipulations, is better done on a computer using "real" software rather than on a camera. You get much more control on a computer. However, the D40 does have a wide repertoire of photo manipulation capabilities.

In order to overlay images, you must be shooting in RAW (or RAW+JPEG). Select Image Overlay from the Retouch menu. A preview dialog will be displayed with Image 1 highlighted. Press OK to get a photo selection dialog. Use left/right to highlight the first picture in the overlay. (You can press and hold the Zoom button to see the selected photo fullscreen.) Press OK to select the image. Optimize exposure for the image by pressing up/down. Press left/right to highlight Image 2. Select the second image the same way. Press left/right to highlight the Preview column. Overlay will show you the result, allowing you to go back and change things if you wish. Save will save the overlaid photo.

The shadow in the lower portion of your camera is probably caused by the lens hood. The solution is simple: remove the lens hood whenever you're using the built-in flash.

How do I upload from Fuji FinePix software to facebook

What model of camera is it? If its a SLR like the one pictured, you might have shot the pictures in RAW format. You will need to convert them to a JPEG to upload to Facespace.

In most photo management programs you should have the ability to choose where you put the images when you connect the card for download to your PC. You should be able to right click on an image and there might be a 'Show me Location on Computer' option. This will tell you were it is located in your file structure.
