Question about Mitsubishi VS-55705 55" Rear Projection Television

1 Answer

Mitsubishi 55-inch Prjection HD

I don't have the model number with me.  We purchased the set in January 2001.

The picture is intermittently, but with increasing frequency looking like this:

Is this something that can usually be repaired at a reasonable cost?  Above $1,000, we might just buy  new set.

If You cant adjust the convergence through the convergence menu. Chances are its your convergence ICs. Some mitsubishi set are famous for having bad solder joints on the ICs. I would check that out first, but be careful there is always a risk of getting shocked if your not famillar with TV diagnosis and repair, even after the plug has been pulled. If you feel comfortable checking the solder joints. you'll be looking for huge ICs attached to huge heat sinks with 18 pins. There are two seperate ICs

Hello. I looked up your model range and found many service bulletins associated with it. Among those was a RECALL due to burn/fire hazards from the burners not shutting off and the temperature setting can increase unexpectedly. The model years affected were from January 2006 to June 2010. I've attached a pic of the affected serial numbers. You can obtain a free in-home repair by contacting LG at (855) 400-4038, toll free. I hope this helps you!

I have purchased three Baofeng radios ,but loose communication or contact after 1km,what can I do in order to increase frequency?

Frequency is not the issue. Power is. Also check to be sure you haven't set the squelch controls to too high a level which would reduce the range.

Low connection to Internet

You can change channels, you can't increase frequency. The Linksys WRT54g is a 2.4ghz Frequency wireless device. You can purchase a 2.4-5.0ghz Frequency Dual-Band device. If you have Devices with Wireless N Adapters you will benefit, theoretically, from a N wireless access point increasing speed. Do a little research, there's more to it than replacing a Wireless device. That's only one piece of the puzzle.

Can't get motorola talkabout em1000 series kem-pk14190-67 to work

If you have a pair of them, just set them both to the same "channel" and "Code". If you have two different models, even if they're both Motorola, they may not use the same index numbers for the same settings.

We just purchased these radios for our Dental office and they seem to have alot of interference, they have alot of static, We have them on channel 1, Frequency 8, I believe, seems to be kinda complicated...

We agree, it does take some patience to program this model of radio. However, it is do-able. You need to program both the Frequency and the Code. If you set your code (the smaller number), it should eliminate interference from other users. If not, switch to a different set of numbers until you find a clear frequency in your area. Here is a link to the user guide:

On the issue of static. Static is usally caused by using a bad, defective or poorly charged battery. This model of radio has not been offered for several years. It is likely you have batteries which need replaced. Your local Motorola dealer should be able to get the batteries for you. Or purchase from an online Motorola vendor.

Best regards.

There is no clock function on the BC92XLT. To program a frequency, power the scanner ON, then press HOLD to stop scanning. Next, enter the channel number that you wish to program (01, 02, etc.). Push FUNC, then PGM, then enter the frequency you wish to program, including the decimal point (example, 156.075). Press the E key to complete the entry.

In the Camera Settings there is an option to Enable/Disable the date stamp. Look for that option and enable it to get the date on your clicked pics. In the settings only you will find the clock settting / date/time settings to adjust the date and time. Refer your manual.
