Question about Sony VPL PX31 Multimedia Projector
After replacing old lamp the "replace lamp message" still appears and now the projector smells hot after running for an hour or so. It smells bad enough to turn off.
I have a Dell 2400mp 3,000 lumens. After you pull out the old lamp, find an air chuck, now be carfull, you want to make sure that there is no watter in the air line, trust me what can go wrong dose.<---. Now make shure that the air pressure going into the projector fan is not to much, for example 120psi would rip your projector appart. This was the best cure for mine, be carfull with those air cans also, they work well for alot of stuff, but projector fans are a little harder to get to. If you use an air can make shure to hold it in the position it would be if it were on a counter or sitting some other place. And do not put the screws on very tight. [email protected]
