Light printing. The printer is a real workhorse! Had it since 2000! Now it is printing light; is there anything as far as setting are concerned, or should I change the cartridge? It was changed not more than a month ago, I don't print that much. A cartridge usually lasts me for about a year. Thanx for your help!

Try cleaning the transfer roller.

take out the cartridge look inside at a black roller kind of spongy

clean it with a clean lint free cloth.

It could be that the toner is bad if it's a generic, did it start when you put in the new one?

Hi, you have to correct your settings, on the ectiol printer it self, just go THRUE the manual if you saying it far lie new..
If you get stuck, as quik way out, set all settings in your printer to "Defoult Setings" it will fix your problem..!

As far as the wifi is concerned, try getting it connected to your home network. Once it gets connected, go into your network settings and try to get the IP address. If you can obtain that, you should be able to add a network printer using TCP/IP port. Also, see if you can factory reset the printer, and start the setup all over.

My cannon mp468 prints photos real dill

On the printers properties select colour intensity and switch to manual. then select 'set'. And move the light/dark control over to light, around 15 to 21 seems best.

MP means multipurpose tray.or tray 1.open the tray,blow air in,could be small piece of paper stuck inside.

My printer stops printing after printing about two sentences.

I fixed the problem. I kept checking and rechecking making sure everything on my computer was working correctly using any free resources I could locate. I concluded it had to be the printer. I purchased a new Canon Printer and "YAHOO" it workded perfectly.

It probably is a margin setting. Can you try printing on a blank w-2 and preview it before printing. That way you should be able to adjust the margin as needed.

My printer does not print

Try using the utilities of your printer, clear the heads and align them. This usualy happens when the cartridges are new. Maybe the problem is that previous cartridges where empty and the new ones need alignment.
This is just a proposal though i need more information concerning your truoblshooting.
Are the cartridges OEM HP or reconstructed?
When you try to print the green light flashes or not?

My printer won't print. Can't get the Print light to turn off.

I downloaded the manual. It showed how to solve print light problems. There was some paper caught in the system.

Canon bjc 240/orange light stays on

The blinking orange light could mean one or more of the following: -Home position error -Waste ink full error -Temperature sensor error -Printing position correction error -Cleaning error -Printer memory error I would probably clean the waste ink tank first. Make sure you unplug it first. Take the cartridge out and clean real good at the bottom.
