You have a common problem for monitors 2-3 years old. The internal power supply has died. If you can solder you should be able to do the repair yourself. Go to our web site at: www.ccl-la.com/badcaps.htm
and look at the pictures. Open your monitor up and look for parts that look like the pictures on our site, replace any you see. The values to use are located on the sides of the bad caps. Be sure to use high temp (105c) replacements, not ones from Radio Shack, they will blow out in no time because of the high in the monitors. We carry them in stock or you can order them from several places on the internet. If you don't want to do the repair yourself we can do it for you. We charge $35 + return shipping.
