T.V. problems Water got spilled down the back of my tv and of course it wouldn't work, it sat for 7 months and decided to try it, and it worked! so i unplugged it to move to another room where it could be used and plugged it up and it wouldnt work,so i unplugged it waited 2 weeks or so and plugged it back in and it worked, So i moved it again and it did the same thing, well its now working and sitting on the floor, I'm afraid to unplug it again because it probably won't work.  If I keep it plugged in it works just fine, once i unplug it, the power wont come on again for a few weeks....any suggestions????

  • do not worry.
  • just put it on for the whole day till you are at home.if any moisture is there it will dry out.
  • it may give you problem two or three times but it will be ok.
  • good luck.

My daughter seemed to spill some pickle juice on the front of my sanyo flat screen tv it ran into the bottom where the power and channel changing buttons are now it is wigging out and changing channels and...

Spill a small amount of warm water and let it run down to wash out the pickle juice. Of course do this without the power cord connected. Let the tv dry long enough to be sure the water has evaporated before re applying power. Just might work.

Water leaks out of the soap dispenser drawer. looks like the tube going into the washer is plugged. how do you take it apart to clean the tube?

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France @14:01 Sat!

You will need to press down the lip at the back centre (center!) of the drawer to remove it- just a not-to-firm press should do it at the same time as gentle pulling.

They all need a good clean every now and again! Ours does 'cos my wife manages to spill powder and softener into both trays- always in a hurry, of course!

Cheers,

I spilled some water on my tv and now the sound is broken

Turn the TV off imediately. Remove the back cover and heat up the wet area with an hair dryer to thoroughly dry the board. Then try tv again. If it doesnt solve the problem look for the board that the speaker wires connect to and replace that board..You should be able to buy online.

My mazda protege died in middle of driving. i changed the fuel pump, it drove properly for less than an hour. then it started loosing power where it would go up and down in speed. over the course of 3...

Probably your spark plug get wet (water get into your spark plug), so it doesn't work quite well to give high voltage spark to burn fuel.
Clean your spark plug by removing spark plugs of 4 cylinders and clean, start engine to blow out the residue water in spark plug socket. And install spark plug into 4 cylinders

SONY WEGA KV27FS120 WON'T TURN ON, LED BLINKS A FEW TIMES

I don't know if this will help anyone else, but I sure hope it will. I had a similar problem with TWO of the three Sony 24" TVs I had bought together. TV#1 konked out a month ago; TV#2 messed up last week. So I called the Sony Service Center, and this very nice guy told me that a lot of times this problem occurs because the TV isn't plugged directly into the wall (most people plug theirs into a power strip/surge protector). When it happened to TV1, we hadn't been using TV2 so we just traded their locations and the "bad" one sat there waiting to be thrown out...and sat and sat and sat. Well, I was pretty hot when it happened again a month later to TV2. The service center guy told me to unplug TV2 and replug it in the wall after about 1 minute and turn it on. Nothing happened. Then he told me to plug in TV1 and turn it on. I did, reluctantly. And it actually worked!! I don't know if anyone having this problem has a week to be without their TV, but the guy said sometimes it takes up to a week of sitting to get it to work right again. So I'm waiting a few more days before I try to plug in TV2 to see if it works again, but for now, at least I've got one TV back. Here's hoping you all have the same experience. And then I guess we'll have to decide whether to plug back into a power strip (mine was actually plugged into my cable TV's DVR machine) or into the wall.
