082,091,057,029 are the codes to check. If you wish to get more setup codes, check this link. Pull up older posts there. Setup code list and proceedings to some popular brand remote controls are given.
might be able to use the cable co remote and autosearch thru the codes, but its too hard to explain, the cable tech should have ran that procedure. unfortunately, rca has 50 million models. it is common to have a tv and yes rca for sure, to not take the codes. sometimes the tv is too new for the cable company remotes to work. i am leaning toward the tv too new theory. give it six months and i bet there will be a new remote version.
I was having trouble finding a code that worked for my new RCA Digital TV converter box, model DTA800B1, remote for use with the Sylvania SRC2213X Color TV/VCR Combo. I found another site that had a guy saying he stepped through and found code 116 worked. I tried this and it worked for me too! If you are using a 4 digit code, probably 0116.
no you require the remote or a universal remote or sometimes a cable remote that has been programmed to work the volume on the tv set will have an input button .
Could it be possible that the remote needs reconfigured? If none of the buttons work, the it could possibly be that you need to re-enter the TV code back into the remote.
