My hardisck no deteck in my PC

First - re-seat the hard disk and reboot the computer. If the computer does not boot up then reboot and go into the BIOS configuration to see if the BIOS detects the hard drive. If it doesn't detect the hard drive then it could be faulty.
Then the hard drive needs to be replaced in the computer/laptop, Windows installed and the computer or laptop's device drivers plus your programs etc. to get a functioning computer/laptop again.

I want to detect driver Thanks

There is _NO_ need for any additional device-driver -- Windows "natively" supports all disk-drives.

Have a barracuda ATA 120 gb that came out of a computer with a fried motherboard. how to externally get info off the hard drive ?

You need an expert to do that. The expert must have the exact same board to swap with the burnt board. If the power did not affect the disk, you may recover the data on the disk.

Hard disk ST9120822AS ATA Device

If the computer cannot Bootup with an error message that hard drive nor detected or no boot device then you could have a faulty hard disk.
Go into the BIOS configuration and see if the BIOS detects the hard disk. If it is not detected then it is probably faulty.
Next reset the ATA data cable on the hard drive and at the motherboard. Bootup the computer again, also check the BIOS configuration again to see if it detects the hard drive.
If it still does not find the hard drive then remove the hard drive and connect it to an USB hard drive adapter and plug it into a working computer's USB port. If this computer does not detect it as an external hard drive then this proves the hard drive is faulty.
To get your computer working again, replace the hard drive and install Windows together with the device drivers and your programs.

Dear FixYa team,

Thx for your kind offering to me. I already call my friend to help me here. And he seems already found the solution. The problem was comes from USB cable malfuction, and I think it somehow affect the firmware detection. Gladly he can back up it again with another harddisk, just try to baiting it to make the firmware read. Now I'm still waiting for data recovery only. I'm so sorry that I can't use ur helps now, coz I needed it in hurry. Thx

My bios doesn't recognize my hard drive

Do the neccesary jumper cable settings. then manually detect it through your bios. If not detected, try to replace the ide cable. if still not detected, try to feel the hard drive if it spins, if not, the had drive is damage.

Barracuda 7200.7 be used with NTFS drive?

Yes, it can be used that way. Do you already have an operating system installed on your first drive?

Disk can be formatted after installing operating system on the first disk or prior to installation if you intend to install the operating system on this disk.

What to do with unreadable but recognised hard disk segate 400GB

After data is recovered, it should be moved to another drive to keep safe. The drive that was recovered has to be reformatted and checked for errors before storing more data.

Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 ST380011A "a disk read error occured"

Might be a damaged sector. Otherwise i would think you (by accident) created a seperate partition on your C:\ (? main) HD. The cause of damage can be many things, certain types of certain brands or more sensitive in how fast these sectors get damaged. But you can at least try to repair them with the disk repair utility in Win XP, called ChkDsk ("check disk"). However, what may end up happening is that ChkDsk will mark the sector as bad (instead of attempting to recover any information) and your hard drive will no longer 'hover' over top of that area of the drive, making it impossible to recover any data on the sector. Maybe try to google for (free) BETTER third party software for this first. So what caused it is hard to discover after it happened, but you can try to repair it.
