I received my complete computer from a friend and when i received it the printer worked fine. A few weeks ago i got internet service and it would not print pages from the internet.
So i tried to fix myself and ending up making it worse, i think i changed the port and then i may have changed the usb i am not sure but now it will not work at all.
The printer did print from word but now it does not print from anything and i don't know what to do. can someone please help me.
O.K. first go to -File -Print -Porperties do you see your printer there? is it highlighted? does it have a checkmark? if it's not there then you have to install it in Printers and faxes add a printer. If if not highlighted then right click on it and "set as default" then place your mmose over it and see if it says "ready" or offline if it's offline then the connection is wrong, leave mouse over printer and change connection it should change to 'ready"
