Question about Memorex MMP8564 MP3 Player

I REALLY NEED HELP!

Okay so one time my mp3 went through and deleted all of my songs by itself so i put on new ones.  after that it was washed in the washer machine cuz it was left in my pants then it worked fine after i let it dry.  now it has been acting weir and it used to let me listen to it, it was like two days ago then i thought my batteries were dead so i went and got new ones. Now it will turn on and say memorex like it usually does, and instead of saying "creating play list" or "searching for new files" before giving me a song list it just turns of. It only stays on for about two seconds so it isn't the batteries.  I found this out trying to download music to it.  I figured that i needed to put in the battery and so i did but then it still said it was unknown on the computer.  Oh and before that I had added music and it would turn on and say "media full shutting down" and turned off, so i deleted like 5 songs... But yeah..i need help.

I accidently went to settings and went to format and presses yes and it deleted everything i had. It happened like 6 months ago. Over the 6 months i have started over with putting songs on it and...

Unfortunately, you have likely overwritten the old songs by copying new songs.

One free product worth trying is Recuva (http://www.piriform.com/download)

Download and install Recuva, plug the mp3 player into your computer, and see what can be recovered. Even if you can see some of your old songs they might be corrupted so make sure to listen to them.

I hope this has been informative.

I can't delete music from my Sansa e260

You can remove content on the Sansa itself by highlighting the song you want to delete, then down click and select "Delete" while the song is highlighted.

Also, there is a setting within the software on the PC that you can change to prevent the Sansa from automaticaly syncing if you don't want it to do that.

Need help deleting songs from my Sony MP3 player

Try reflashing the firmware for your device you can find the latest firmware and flashing utilities from the manufacturer?s website. Make sure that you back your music up first because when you do this you are setting it back to factory settings.

How do i delete songs off of my sansa e250?

You can manually delete the music thru My Computer. Just click on the device name, and open the Music folder. If you dont have a Music folder, you need to enable hidden files and folders on your computer. Best of Luck.
