Yup, LE is the door latch. Seems like at some point the solenoid gets too weak to push the switch that tells the washer the latch is really closed and it cuts power to the latch and won't operate.
The door latch is fairly easy to repair. I've done it twice and I'm just an intermediate DIYer. The latches seem to fail every 3-4 years. You pull the rubber ring and the metal ring from around the door, then undo those two screws you can see around the latch. Then unplug. Then reverse. Unlike many instruction videos for other ASKO models, you do not need to pull the front panel off to do this. Just the rubber ring and huge retaining ring that holds it in place.
The confusion right now is finding the parts because no one SEEMS to have them in stock, but they are easy to get, if you don't bother with google to find them, because you won't find them there. Sub Zero has exclusive rights to distribute Asko parts in the US now. So you have to go through them. If you use google you will find "out of stock" and "discontinued" on the listings of everyone else who used to be allowed to sell them. The official distributors aren't google friendly, I guess.
If you are in New England, you can get parts from Certified Appliance Parts if you are in the Mid Atlantic you have to go through Mid-Atlantic Parts Distributors. If you are elsewhere, search for "sub zero parts" and your state. The right place should come up.
You need ASKO item #3619046410 Door latch It cost me $43.
