Connect LG NB3520A to Fisher RS-625 receiver

Can I connect my Fisher Receiver RS-625 to my LG NB3520A sound bar? I'd like to listen to music through the sound bar instead of the external speakers.

You would have to install a speaker selection switch. You cannot directly hook up 2 amplifiers to one set of speakers without destroying one or both amplifiers. Unfortunately, one set of amplifiers is inside your sound bar. An external switch would have to be installed on your sound bar as well as speaker terminals that would connect to your Fisher.

If you have a line out or tape out on your Fisher, and you have an analog input on your sound bar, use could use that as an alternate solution. For more information, please visit my website at audioserviceclinic.com. Thank you.

SOURCE: I have a LG 42

I have an almost exact set-up and you will only get sound out of your rear speakers when the TV channel is broadcasting in 5.1 Ch Stereo. Otherwise the sound is limited to your front, center, and woofer speakers.

Hi how do i connect a sound bar to my 43 in tv

Depending on the sound bar / TV configuration you can have various connection solutions.

The usual connections are HDMI, RCA and optic. Whichever route you take, consider what you want to achieve. For instance, I have a sound bar connected and use satellite as my TV source. Instead of connecting the sound bar to the TV, I opted to connect it directly to my satellite receiver as my receiver has this option. The reason I did this is so I can tune my satellite to a music station and play music through the home without having the TV on. No point of running the TV is all I want is sound.

G'luck!

I have a 19 " sansul cant get my ilive sound bar

I hope this helps. You have to connect your sound bar to your cable box/satellite tv receiver. If you are connecting with composite or component cables you connect the video cables (either the yellow or the green blue and red cables) between the television and the cable box /satellite tv receiver. Then you connect the red and white audio portion of the cable between the cable box/satellite tv receiver and the sound bar. You are going from the OUTPUT of the cable box/satellite tv receiver to the INPUT on the television and sound bar. You use the function/source/input button on the sound bar to choose the space you plugged the cables into on it or listen to the radio or listen to your IPOD and etc.

I'm trying to connect my computer to my Sansui A3100 receiver so that I can listen to my computer music via my speakers which are also hooked up to my receiver. Everything is hooked up correctly. Can you...

I would connect the computer directly to the speakers not the receiver to confirm the impedance is compatible. Connecting via the receiver complicates the issue.

Which output channel are you selecting on the receiver.
