It usually means there is a "PAPER JAM" Check in paper feed that there is not a small torn piece of paper still in the printer. The sensor will still recognize this as a PAPER JAM even though there does not appear to be a sheet of paper in the printer. Good Luck.
Thanks for using FixYa. Perform the steps below in order to solve this incidence:
Disconnect the power cord or power supply adaptor from the rear of the HP All-in-One product.
Remove the paper pack remaining in the input tray.
WARNING - Do not try to remove the jammed paper sheet yet. Trying to clear a paper jam from the front of the device can damage the print mechanism. Always clear paper jams through the rear access door.
Open the rear access door or the two-sided printing accessory.
Gently pull the jammed paper sheet out of the rollers.
If the paper tore when it was being removed from the rollers, check the rollers and wheels for torn pieces of paper that might remain inside the device. If not all the pieces of paper are removed from the device, paper jams are likely to occur again later.
Replace the rear access door or the two-sided printing accessory.

The error 41.3 is unexpected paper length and was caused by the printer pulling more than one sheet. Now the problem is clearing the paper jam in the paper tray. The only way I have found to get it clear is to put the printer on its back with the paper tray facing straight up. Now push the tray in just a little bit if you can and try to shake it to get the paper to shift to the other end. After a minute or two put the printer back down and try to open the tray. If you can then just put the paper back where it goes in the tray. Be sure the pickup roller is clean, no paper dust and such. then try printing again. If you still can't get the tray out then you will have to dis-assembly the printer to get it clearer. Let me know if this gets you going. In order for a jam message to reset to READY, the printer logic is looking for an "06 COVER OPEN" message. The top cover of the machine must be opened to clear the jam message. If the top cover interlock switch is stuck closed, the printer logic never clears the jam message, even after all the paper has been removed. The printer appears hung with the paper jam message and can only be made READY by powering the printer Off and back On.
Remove the toner, and try to gently pull out the paper jam.. If the page gets torn, or ripped, make sure you have all the pieces of the paper removed. Then re-start the printer. Print a test page to make sure the paper path is clear..
