LG WD14030D6 Machine is making a scratching sort of noise when in use. I cleaned the filter and found broken parts of small zippy tie in it. I was wondering if maybe some of it could be caught behind the drum, and if so what do I do. The machine is less than 6 months old

I'm not sure what you mean by a "zippy tie", but if your machine works and the sound is just annoying, I suggest you leave it alone. Chances are it will "fix itself" by wearing down the part more and more until it's too small to make a rubbing noise.

Also, double check all pockets from now on for unwanted bits in your clothes!

Good Luck.

SOURCE: Clanking noise during spin cycle

I was told by 3 technicians that my washer had shot bearings and this is a common problem for the Kenmore Elite Front loader.

Sears knows it and will not do anything about it except try to sell you a new washer since it costs $800 to replace the unit with the bearings.

SOURCE: i cant get the filter out of my washing machine help please

Sometimes a bigger object might block the filter knob, and make it impossible to screw out. Then the only way is to remove the end of the sump hose attached to the filter and remove the stuck object.
(In my filter this object was an Umbraco key) :-)

SOURCE: LG WM2355C water leaking under machine after washing finished.

I had this same problem and it was not the supply connections or filters! Under the machine is a rubber bellows. The bellows had sprung a leak. The part was about $10 from Sears and I repaired it in about 30 minutes. The machine is heavy so be careful. Get a friend to make sure the machine won't rock or tip when you're making the repair.

My LG WM2101H* Front load washer turns on but only makes a hum noise and will not begin cycle?

Hello...
It means your machine is perfect just a small problem.. Just remove the water inlet hose from the machine and clean the inlet filter properly then again fix the hose. every month or two month once just clean the filter properly.

LG Washer WD14030D6 noisy during wash and rinse - fixed!

I had a problem with my LG WD14030D6 which is very noisy when washing and rinsing. The machine got louder over a year or so and so faced with the possibility of a failure I decided to look at the issue. While it sounds like a bearing is failing or similar I noticed that it only happened when the machine was washing and rinsing and was present when the pump was active spraying water across the clothes (wash and rinse cycles), I pulled the machines front panel off and removed the pump assembly at the bottom right of the washer (there are several Youtube videos which show how to do this and remove the flexible pipes and wiring - although not this model but the pump looks the same or close enough).

The pump housing on my machine has 2 pump motors (one on each side of the pump housing). I took a picture of the assembly with wiring attached so I understood the motor orientation before breaking it down.Everyone seems to replace these but I decided to pull them apart and discovered that years of washing had allowed ingress of now dirty and concentrated wash water and detergent to leach in beneath the impeller seal and O-ring seal. I pulled the impeller and rotor assembly out and washed out (with the hose) a lot disgusting gray water almost (it looked like a lithium based grease but it isnt - it should be all clean).

After letting it all dry in the sun till the motor was dry I lubricated the impeller/motor rotor shaft bearing with liberal amounts of CRC or RP7 until it felt reasonably free. I did this to both motors/impeller assemblies. I cleaned out the filter and pump housing although it was all pretty clean anyway. The motors are offset on each side of the pump but it probably doesnt matter too much unless it possibly restricts the mounting, etc.

After reassembly its now as good as new and all but silent just like it was when we first got it back in 2012. So if the spray is working during wash and rinse modes and it pumps out give this a try as the motors are probably fine and save the expense of 2 pump replacement motors.

Sorry I didnt take pics but I really assumed that the pump motors were failing and that I would be replacing them as per all the current Youtube videos indicate. So I decided I had nothing to lose trying this way - and it worked!

My dishwasher washes for a bit than goes to spray and than stops and shows e5 on screen wat can I do

well without the make and model its impossible to be exact , but if its a Samsung or LG then that code means its taking too long to drain (this sort of makes sense to you saying it washes for a bit then faults ) ive found typically when a machine gets this alarm it a sure thing that something is jammed in the filter or food particle smasher part of machine , also sometimes a item gets past food smasher and gets stuck in the drain valve , a small can of compressed air goes miles to figuring out what it is blocking up these

My new LG front load washer has a deep small scratch in the outside of the plastic door. Should i be concern

Take the reimbursement because the minute scratch is not effecting the performance and you are the only one who is aware of the condition. As for the noise, a bit of One Lube spray on the hinge will take care of that. One Lube is a special oil/silicone application that works on all moving parts that tend to make noise, and it lasts far longer than all other products. Look for it on the internet, or ACE Hardware.

Vacuum has lost suction and is making a hissing noise

I had the same problem with my Kompressor.Initially I had cleaned all three removable filters. There is two in the canister that can be washed with dish soap. The HEPA filter is located in a compartment on the lower front side of the vacuum. This HEPA filter should not be washed.I found that tapping it inside a trash can dislodged alot of dust from it. After cleaning all the filters and canister I was having the same hissing noise coming from a small hole near the bottom of the vacuum. Next I removed a hose fitting on the lower back of the vacuum and that is where I found a very large amount of debris clogging up the hose. I used a metal coat

LG WM2355C water leaking under machine after washing finished.

HI, you will want to Inspect the water supply connections. this is a good spot to check first. there may be a loose connection here, causing the leakage. Next, Inspect the drain hose. Check to make sure that it is tightly connected to the drain pump. replace if needed. Last. Inspect outer tub/basket for cracks or corrosion.

You will find the issue in one or all of the above stated check points.
