My brother dropped my Zen Microphoto and at first i was worried it was broken, but then it seemed to work fine after re-loading the music library which it did automatically and very quickly. the library works fine, as does playback, seemingly, however, i think there's a problem with the headphone port (i think something's come loose) so i cant actually hear it play. I know it's not the headphone's that are broken, so I'm wondering if the problem's fixable and if its worth fixing or not. Should I bother getting it fixed, or would it be easier and cheaper just to get a new one?
Most of the time you can just solder the headphone jack back on if you have a good soldering iron and skill to do so otherwise you have to send it in http://www.zenrepair.com/Zen/index.jsp

Don't worry that doesn't mean that your mp3 player is faulty, if there is any fault it is from the charger but since the usb charges it well, just continue to use it. It doesn't mean the player is faulty, IT HAPPENS.
OK this seems to easy a fix for you, but try it.
* In the main menu where it lists your options (and where FM Radio would be) press the 'Menu' button on your Microphoto (bottom right button) and there is an option to 'Configure Menu' and in there should be the option to show FM Radio again. Hope that helps you.
I have a similar, but different problem, so ill list below, maybe it will help someone out.
i also replaced the (broken) 8gb microdrive with 8gb compact flash in my Zen Microphoto, which worked flawlessly! BTW i bought the A-Data 'SPEEDY CF 8GB' from newegg.com.
My FM Radio still shows up, but only gets MONO sound on the Right channel, its very frustrating. i took it all apart again and made sure no connections were loose or broken, but everything seems perfect. i believe it to be a firmware issue, i think ill try to roll back the drivers. im using firmware 1.31.01.
its just annoying to have to roll back to Media Player 10 everytime just to install the firmware and have windows properly communicate with the zen... :[
ok, first of all the zen needs windows xp with service pack 2 to work with your pc, if your windows does not have service pack 2 , the usb port will not work with it.
