You may need to adjust the volume as this does seem to make the vibrate mode higher of lower

How can i get my samsung galaxy i5800 apollo to vibrate for text messages? I have checked the box that says vibrate, i have changed the volume on the phone so that it is on vibrate and i have also set the...

When you go to settings and set the ringtone for messages and click for vibrate while message enter ensure to hit save before closing the page. This should ensure the phone vibrates when message enters the phone. Although the only other reason why it won't vibrate is if the ******** is bad but if the phone vibrates when call comes in then this is not the problem just save the settings after it has been set.
Hope this solution has been helpful?

How do you put the LG VOYAGER VX10000 on vibrate

the other solution is not what i think they are asking.
there are many ways to put the phone on vibrate:
1. closed: press the phone icon and hold the # sign.
2. open: hold down the Z key from the main screen.
3. open or closed: press the down volume key on the left side of the phone until it says vibrate.

Ring vs vibrate

This phone allows you to independently set ring and vibrate modes. When you access "Call Vibrate" to set the mode, also visit the "Call Ringtone" menu to turn off the ringer.

You may want to leave the vibrate mode OFF and your ring tone ON and use the quick keys to switch between ring and vibrate. Two ways to do this, push and hold the # key to switch between normal mode (the settings you chose in "Call Ringtone" and "Call Vibrate") or use the side volume button to access the "Master Volume" and select "All Off", "Vibrate" or a ring tone volume.

If this helps you, please leave me a good rating.
