May I suggest replacing this plastic part for metal parts (parts for 16 year old unit most likely not available) available thru www.pwmall.com or other pressure washer parts houses. Look thu parts listings and purchase adapters with correct thread /fitting type for your application. They will assist you with your purchase. As an example, view the following link for adapters. http://www.pwmall.com/s-20873-twist-connect-couplings.aspx
Northern tools also has a very good selection of fittings to solve your problem (Northern tools Co are in most larger cities). www.northerntool.com
i cannot think of a commercial product designed for this. I believe that you either may need to send it in for repairs, or if the pin inside the female end is bent, try bending it back. BE CAREFUL.
The small metal box is the tuner. The tuner has to be removed to replace the broken off RF connector. The connector has to be soldered to the tuner housing (metal box) and the leg of the connector has to be soldered to the circuit board, board has to be checked for cracks or if it is broken. If board is damaged the tuner will have to be replaced, if its available.
there is definitely a problem in the drive shaft. check to make sure there's nothing blocking the mal and female ends. if there is, clean it out and lubricate it so that the male will attach to the female slot. also check to see that both ends are not stripped. if the motor portion of it is stripped, which most liekly is out culprit, then it needs to be replaced, or you need to get a new trimmer. if you do, i recommend the Ryobi model CS26 gas trimmer.if the atachment shaft is stripped, the the attachment needs replacement. if you replace the motor portion you need not lubricate the attatchment slot. if the attachment is stripped, it needs to be replaced, but im quite sure the female end in the motor shaft is our problem. it could also be broken inside the shaft. make sure nothing falls out if you hold the attatching ends to the ground.
We have the same pump and problems. I have attempted a few fixes with
PVC sealant and hose clamps to the current adaptor, however the adapter
is still continuing to crack. The adapter is removable- carefully so as
to not damage the small eyelet it attaches to, (or in our case, it came
off on it's own) and can be replaced by any adapter that fits- they can
be found all over at lowes or home depot. I am personally going to try
using a broken hose and clamping it directly to the eyelet. This is not
a good reason to buy a new pump- they fix too easy!
The vga cable is a DB15, 3 ranks with male connector at each end,
(you can use a vga extention and add a little male to male adaptor at the female end to get finaly 2 males connectors)
And, the power cord is in fact an ac/dc adaptor, the replacement part is: 12b27-0428 (12v 5A 60w 4 pins) ...
just type de number 12b27-0428 on internet and you're on ...
Your son is right. the 2 screw of the male should be fasten to the hole of the female dvi. replacing the whole part need careful de-soldering.
However, if the shield is still there and only the hole where to screw in the male end of the cable, you can get from old computer discarded around. you only have to remove the two hex screw and replace it into your DVI female. Observe that the head of these screws are hex, six corners, and the hole is threaded. that threaded hole is where to screw in the screw attached to your male DVI socke
