I have a xovision cd player, model no xo-1943BT and there is no display but everything else works. the touch screen, cd, dvd all work and the display did work for about 3 months and than it just stopped working one day. i didn't know if there is any easy fix or if it is internal.

Not that I'm aware of however you can go to xovision.com and at the bottom the page click on contact us give them the model number and the city/state that you live in and they will give you the contact info for the closest distributor in your area where you can purchase a remote expect to spend about $30
if the headsets work the fm transmitter may already be working. unless they are using an ir signal. you can test this by blocking the the ir or (infrared) led's on the lcd and the dvd player , if the headsets still work than its probably being sent via fm signal. turn your head unit on to fm andstart at 87.1mhz and work your way up to 89.9mhz in .1mhz intervals fm transmiters are usualy some where in that frequency.hope that helps
You need to buy an amp adapter.
SCOSCHE OEA4 4-Channel Adjustable Factory Amplifier Int. 23 bucks on ebay. You most likely have a factory amp in your car and the head unit's speaker output wires are already amped. the factory amp can't understand the audio signal.
