I have been charging my HTC Touch Pro during the night and at times it will go into sleep mode. When I wake up the face key is pulsing light but the phone will not turn on when I press the power key. At night I do not power down so I'm not sure why it will not respond. It happens irregularly so I have no idea if I did/am doing something wrong. I use my phone as a alarm system and I have missed important meeting because of it. How can I fix this?
I have recently purchased a HTC Touch Pro. I have an irregular issue with overnight charging. I leave the phone charging from the computer usb port overnight. In the morning it will not wake up when I press the power button. The only way I have found to wake it up is to remove and then replace the battery.

You can enter or leave the "Sleep mode" by tapping the Flex rapidly for 1-2 seconds. You'll feel a vibration and the LEDs will blink. (The blinks will depend on if you are entering or leaving sleep mode.) In this mode, the Fitbit Flex reduces the LED intensity and doesn't give alerts. Afterwards, it will provide some data about your sleep pattern - length, movement, waking up during the night. This can help you determine the quality of your sleep. (Note: it isn't a replacement for consulting a doctor if you always wake up tired.)
I hope this helps.

(You can manually enter your sleep and wake times into the app without using "Sleep mode". Then the app will use the movement data from the Flex to determine sleep quality. However, LED lights (primarily blue frequencies) are known to reduce sleep quality so dimming them helps most people sleep better. The alerts will also interrupt your sleep and reduce the quality.)
You need to put the phone into recovery mode, that is a way to disable/enable.
Placing your device into recovery mode
Follow these steps to place your iOS device into recovery mode. If
your iOS device is already in recovery mode, you can proceed immediately
to step 6.
Disconnect the USB cable from the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch,
but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB
port.
Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a
few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait
for the device to turn off.
If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press
and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the
device turns off, release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on. Note: If you see the screen pictured below, let the
device charge for at least ten minutes to ensure that the battery has
some charge, and then start with step 2 again.
Step1 Plug the iPod Touch into your computer.
Step 2
Power on the iPod Touch.
Step 3
Press the "Home" and "Sleep/Wake" buttons together for 5-10 seconds until the Apple logo appears.
Step 4 Release
the "Sleep/Wake" button but continue holding down the "Home" button.
The iPod Touch should reboot, and iTunes will notice the iPod Touch in
recovery mode.

I think I have found out the way to solve this problem! I think! Ok on my phone I changed the power settings. Go to settings>all settings(if on touch flo)>system tab>power>advanced tab> then uncheck the two boxes that says "turn off device if not used for". Hopefully this works because I don't want to trade in my htc for another phone. Try it out and let me know if this works for you or not.
Hi dpramanik, even i had the same problem with my HTC touch 3452 which i had bought 4 months back. For the first 3 months i didnt had any problem while i was using spice sim. In the 4 th month i changed over to Airtel sim then this peculiar problem started.(the airtel sim worked perfectly when used on my other phone N70). then i realised that the roblem lies with HTC phone. So i returned HTC 3452 set to Univercel shop where i had purchased.(I tried hard to convince the people in univercel shop, i tried to call to airtel no on HTC 3452 set from my other phone. I tried nearly 1 hour coz not all calls get missed but only few which u cant predict when calls get missed without your notice). After 20 days i got my phone back and was surprised to see new version of windows 6.1 with lot of improved features. This solved my problem of calls getting missed. But i was unhappy with only one thing - i lost Touch Cube , instead windows 6.1 has sliding scroll down on the screen. So i suggest you to get windows in your phone upgraded free of cost(within warranty period) from 6.0 to 6.1 or else get a spice sim and retain the touchcube and win6.0 OS. Good luck. i think i was of some help to you.
1. File manager in ipcsuite
/System/Library/SystemConfiguration/PowerManagement.bundle
2. Find the file:
com.apple.SystemPowerProfileDefaults.plist
Then rename it to:
com.apple.SystemPowerProfileDefaults.plist2
