How to delete notepad logs from certain files

I want to delete a number of notepad logs from one of my files to clean up PC running and speed. However, when I try to delete I get an "ask to save" message. It is the PFRO log. Whatever I do I get "access denied" screen.

If you are using the windows 7, and want to delete any log file which shows 'access denied' , you just need to login with your admin account and you can access and delete that file easily.

SOURCE: Domain\administrator has no local admin rights

You may need to edit group policy if this was once in a domain. You may want to try rebooting the machine and logging into the 'LOCAL' machine and see if you have rights that way. Each machine by default has one administrator account but if the server was part of a domain, that right may have been removed. You may need to reset OWNER privileges for all files in the machine.

SOURCE: I have deleted svchost.exe accidently

this is going to be a tough one to fix. since I don't know which svchost you have deleted from the system.
usually when that happen the only solution is to reinstall the OS. even try to fix it from the registry key, the key and the pointer will be there, but not the excution file, and there is not way which svchost control what services.

The Svchost.exe file is located in the %SystemRoot%\System32 folder. At startup, Svchost.exe checks the services part of the registry to construct a list of services that it must load. Multiple instances of Svchost.exe can run at the same time. Each Svchost.exe session can contain a grouping of services. Therefore, separate services can run, depending on how and where Svchost.exe is started. This grouping of services allows for better control and easier debugging.

Svchost.exe groups are identified in the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\SvchostEach value under this key represents a separate Svchost group and appears as a separate instance when you are viewing active processes. Each value is a REG_MULTI_SZ value and contains the services that run under that Svchost group. Each Svchost group can contain one or more service names that are extracted from the registry key.

SOURCE: can not save a file or move a file to my desktop in vista.

Your account permissions are not set correctly. You need to change them so the account you are having problems with has the correct permissions. One way to do that is found here.

SOURCE: local drive not accessible

Hi

Just ensure that full permissions available for administrator user.
Right click local drive , go to properties and security tab , and then click administrator user and give full control to that drive.

Thanks
