Which power supply?

Would it be possible to use a 12 volt power supply for my goodmans LD1925w tv or would it have to be a 19 volt one? Its because I don't have the power supply and 12v goodmans power supply is a lot cheaper then the specific LD1925W power supply. Thanks

If it worked at all with the 12V supply, it probably wouldn't last very long. Don't recommend it.

The power supply may fail as the capacitor that smoothes the rectified AC current is not working correctly and causing horizontal moving lines and the buzz.
If you can repair it by replacing the capacitors, all to the good but a switch mode type unit will possibly be available from an electronics shop.

Lost power supply and the box doesnt state the voltage or amp requirement.

The power supply is 12 Volt, the center pin is +. i'm currently using a 1 amp replacement power supply(as the origional one burned out years ago), so anything > 1 amp @12 volts will work

Green light continues to blink. TV does not power up for Mitsubihi model WS 55513 TV

Howdy,
Try these ;
1. LED does not stop blinking after plug in. Verify the standby supplies, 12-volts at connector KA pin 17, 6-volts at KA pin 18 and the 28-volts at KA pin 19, if the supplies are present suspect the DM PCB part # 934C067001.

2. LED does not stop blinking after plug in. Check C9B01, C9B02, C9B10, and C9B11 (1000 UFD 16) on the DM PCB, if they are bad replace them with part # 181P734030 (680 UFD 16 V).

The board is on the left hand side of TV from the back. It is standing up, in a silver box.

Good Luck, BIG IRISH.

Goodmans crt tv dead

there is another supply missing from your power supply, chec your components on that power supply a ht of 90volts is missing,
check all active components like transistors, diodes and resistors with very small values,
if you go through you are going to win that problem, ok.

Hi
Even though you show 12 volts, you could still be coming up short in amps on your powerboard.
Updating the capacitors (all of them except for possibly the main) may correct this.
If that doesn't do it, then the inverter is the next target to check.
