Corrupt Recovery DVDs for my three year old Sony VAIO VGN-N130G

Recovery DVDs for my laptop got corrupted and are unusable. Where can I get new Recovery DVDs from?

    It happened so that my laptop got so slow that it used to take 20 minutes to boot. I got so fedup that I decided to use the bad DVDs. And to my good luck they worked and I was able to make the partition for the SW and installed the OS perfectly. Now the laptop runs like brand new one. How it happened, I am still wondering about

I have a sony vaio too, when i reformat it i have to try like 5 times, but it always eventually works or has so far ive reformatted like 3 or 4 times already

How to change hard drive on Sony VGN-N130G?
I need the model number printed on the front of your case, VGN-N130G does not exsist on the sony web support page. http://support.vaio.sony.eu/computing/vaio/index.aspx?l=en_GB

Usually there is a cover under your laptop that is marked.
Remove 1 or 2 screws and your harddrive should just slide out.

download knoppix (http://www.knppix.net) and burn it the .iso to CD. You will be able to boot just from the CD-ROM and back up all your photos to thumb drive.

usually there are screws coming upward from the bottom to remove the keyboard,then you have to remove the palmrest which the touchpad is integrated into.
