I would run a head cleaning and then a head alignment for the printer.

Try this steps it might help,

1. detach the paper tray and push it back correctly.
2. open the front door and remove toner cartridges, on left inner side u may see a light sensor which detects the toner cartridges.. simply clean this section by a small cotton bud. and in the left side of toner unit there is a sensor door, behind that door there is also a light sensor bulb, which needs to be cleaned by a cotton bud.

Go to printer properties and check whether you have selected print in grey mode and also check whether you have selected the economic mode. Rectify the same will solve your problem.

Just click on the Driver tab under Downloads and choose the correct Scan Driver for your operating system.

enter tech mode by pressing menu>idcopy>left>right>menu>back>menu ,then in data setup clear all memory and clear count

the 2160 has a freq range of 144 - 158 only

If you change the settings to grayscale it does print. Damn annoying though :-(

I have changed my magenta toner and the printer wont print saying magnta toner empy. I have tried it several times, shaking the container etc but still cannot print.

Any suggestions??
