SOURCE: Unwanted underscores added to 2D barcode scan

are they the same barcode type?
what is the font set at? using Arial or other fonts can make the software send a more complicated image. use the Zebra Triuverate font. this keeps it simple. also, do a print out of the settings on each printer and compare them line by line. change the settings to match the printer that is printing correctly.

Testimonial: "Thanks. Printing out the settings helped me realize it was not a printer issue. It was a software issue. Installing older version of software fixed it"

Can i use an electric beam safety device on a chamberlain HBW0777 garage door opener

The opener you've have cannot be retrofitted with sensors. The control board inside opener is not designed to use one. If you go to Home depot Chamberlain openers start at $128.00 is similar to yours includes may upgrades, including Security+2.0 technology,. This does not use DIP switches which are not secure.

Symbol PDT 6846 - Scanner won't read 13 digit barcodes (program returns "not on file"). How do we update the scanner application?

This sounds like a programming issue. What application are you using? If you are using a terminal emulation software then you will need to check your host for the issue. If you are using a batch program where the files are stored on the scanner then you will need to check your "validation" files to make sure the code you are scanning is in the scanner.
