Keypad lock:

  1. To lock the keypad press Menu then Star (*) key.
  2. To unlock the keypad press Unlock (Menu key) then Star (*).

well u can open it only i mean access for thay reason just prees left upper key for 2 sec then the * will appear on screen just press star at that time but remember u yave only 1 second to press the star further for permnent code u have to refresh the software...

You can contact Your local cell phone shop that sells Nokia they will be able to tell you how to unlock the phone. If they can't do it over the phone it can be reset by a phone tech,

Hello Ashish..!! its very easy to set the keyguard code. all u have to do is follow the following steps
  • go to menu
  • select "settings"
  • now select "Security settings"
  • open "change access codes"
  • now open "keyguard code"
  • open "change security code"
  • enter the default security code for Nokia i.e., 12345
  • now enter your desired 5 digit code n confirm it again. your code will be changed
to activate the keyguard code, open phone settings n then select keyguard settings. open "keyguard code". enter the code and select "on" Hope this info was useful to you.

  • If you see the word "Keyguard" on the display of your Kyocera phone, you may have activated the keyguard feature. Press button below "Keyguard," then press 123 or the "OK" key to unlock the Keyguard feature. The phone will display "Keyguard Disabled."
  • Some Kyocera phones also have the phone lock feature available. If the phone lock was activated, the default lock code is 0-0-0-0 (4 zeros). When your handset is programmed with a mobile number by your Mobile Service Provider, the default lock code will change to the last 4-digits of your mobile number. To change your handset lock code, you must go to the Security menu, then select Menu > Settings > Security > Current 4-digit lock code.
