My daughter got a hold of my cell phone and cracked the inside LCD? I saw the OEM Replacement part for this available on eBay. I was wondering does anyone know where I can find a dissassembly guid for the Samsung sch-U740 or at least instructions on replacing this LCD on this phone.
James121 is not correct. In this case, with the Samsun sch-u740, the screws are simple small philips screws. Its also pretty tough to get the cover off. you also have to deal with alot of wires to replace the lcd, including soldering the speaker back to the lcd. this is not recommended for 99% of people.
Yes its quite easy actually on any phone , as i say to evry1 you will need a torx screwdriver set , most likely it will be a t7 screwdriver you need and then take the screws off , after youve done that you will be able to acces any part of your phone with ease so you just take the screws of near your flip up part of the phone and then just simply lift it up and then take the old lcd off and then put the new 1 in by connecting it to the flex
