Font size problem when printing documents

Every time I try to print an email, news articles off the net, etc., the print is too small to read. I changed the font so it reads larger thru tools/options/read/fonts/largest, but I can't get it to print the documents out with larger print. I don't know how to fix this problem. Can you help me?

jackboy,  I did that already using this route Outlook Express/View/Text size/Largest. I can read a nice large font, but when I send the item to print out, it comes out very much smaller and hard to read.

I have a HP Deskjet 6540, and everytime I print the print is too small. It's shrink to fit. I change the size to 100%, and it goes back to shrink to fit. How do I set the print size so that it will stay?

The computer shows my font to be standard size but when I go to print the font size comes out at 75% or shrink to fit. I've tried everything possible to get it larger but yahoo ignores my selections and defaults to 75% or shrink to fit. My emails print fine from outlook express and the computer print is fine on other internet sites but I need a magnifying glass for anything I print within yahoo. Yahoo Customer Service is typically useless in resolving this issue. How can I get my mail to print in standard size on yahoo without using another service?

I have a HP Deskjet 990Cse and it had been printing without a problem for years. It seems like about a month ago I noticed it started printing e-mails and pages off the web in very fine font size. I have Internet Explorer 7 and I tried Tools, Internet Options, General, Fonts, but there was no setting for font size.

Font sizes are a program thing nothing to do with the printer
Examine your E-mail client set up in the read section[Different E-mail programs different setting ] probably under a heading
Tools/Options and look at how the font sizes are organized.

What kind of printer is it? Try reinstalling the print drivers.Check the print settings on the printer itsself.

I Need to ask how do I change my font larger I have a H P Photosmart 5510

The printer prints out what it sees in your document. You need to resize the font in your document, which the printer will then see and print.

HPC4480 printing emails in font size 3 or 4 prints letters etc without any problems

Usually emails are compressed in such a way that they take very little space therefore their font sizes are always small. Due to this before printing you are supposed to increase the font size before printing is done otherwise the prints are bound to come out small like font size 3 or 4. The best way to do this is to increase the size of the display before printing is done. you can increase the display size by using the ctrl and + keys. Press down the ctrl and press the + accordingly and the display will become bolderdo this to the document print preview before printing.

I have tried every thing that i could with out sucsess to enlarge the printer font size on my documents i can't hardly read them thay are so small.

If you are trying to print emails directly, you must change font size in Internet Explorer options for font size which controls email print size in Outlook Express. You may copy to a Word doc to control fonts there.

When I print out articles or emails the font is very small(tough to read) I can increase the font on my computer, but I want to print the bigger font size . I have an HP Photosmart4700

You can only change the font in the software that you are making your documents with or with your email try changing the font type and size. This is the only way to adjust the size of your font.

How do I get bigger print? The print is too small I can't read it very well.

The printed documents character size can be changed by changing the FONT SIZE.

If the article is written on a MICROSOFT WORD DOCUMENT or via an E-Mail client, you will find options to change the font size on the task bar.
On the E-mail/Microsoft word client you are working on the Toolbar section it will have options to Choose the font. e.g: TimesNew Roman, Verdana e.t.c.

All you need to do is while typing on your client, select the entire sentence/paragraph tha you have written and then go to the font section.
There you can choose the font of your choice and also increase the font size to 10 to 72. Ideal font should be between 10 to 16.

Print is very small when I try to print my emails from my Mac Book

go to the font settings and be sure its set to size 12, standard for all documents

Print size has changed to very small off internet

Assuming that normal printing is fine, This is due to the size of the print in the email. To output larger print you'll have to copy the email into a document, change the size and then print the document.

Font size problem when printing documents

Hi, my name is adam. I am pretty sure what you are describing is a common problem. Before you print you need to go to print setup or print preview and change the zoom settings so that when it prints it can be zoomed to where you can see it clearer.

How to print my web articles in larger font?

You can try print preview. This should show how it will look on paper. Also make sure it's not trying to fit the document on one page. (shrink to fit)
