PS3 60gig XMB & Update problems

Turn your PS3 on, and have your TV on the correct input. Go to the "GAME" icon on the XMB, and select "GAME DATA UTILITY".

Find the game that you are having trouble with and press triangle, then select delete. (You are not deleting your game information don't worry, its just the update for the game).Start the game back up like you normally would, and re-download the update that is prompted when starting the game. You are done!

Sounds like you need to update your firmware. The latest is 2.46.

copy to a thumb drive, then load to ps3 after wiping the hd clean

You may want to wipe your hd before loading the firmware, it may help your situation.

when you switch the ps3 on if you hold down the power button for more than 4 seconds it runs the display setup. and sets the ps3 to run in the best possible option

clean disc and if this doesnt work move playstation away from wall or any heat source,if this doesnt work shut game off for a while,its tooooo hot
