Printer does not recognise colour cartridge. Message keeps coming up as print cartridge missing even though I have replaced it with a new cartridge. I have taken both cartridges out several times and reinstalled but the message keeps saying PRINT CARTRIDGE MISSING. Any help would be appreciated. thanks
Clean the contacts on the cartidge and printer ( open the replace ink door wait for the printhead to come to center and turn off power) if that does not work then replace cartridge, it might be a recycled one that they did not chane the chip.

I have a Lexmark x1180 all in one, its just over a year old but hardly used but as been standing idle for 9 monhs, I fitted new Lexmark cartridges but
the blue colour is not coming through and is effecting the whole print, I
have used the clean head solution a few times to no effect any help I would
be gratefull
