If they only way to fit your cable is by using the terminal push on connector (which, frankly, i'm not 100% sure what that's describing) and you can easily get that from your hardware store then yes, as long as you can connect up your wires without difficult and without stray copper.

Red wire is live, but white may be live as well during one aspect of operation. Usually neutral is black or blue. If your cable has red white and blue color in it then your using a 3 phase cable. A single phase 3 core cable will have red/brown black/blue green/greenyellow.

Hope this helps. Let me know.

Can I replace steel hob on a Smeg upright 90cm?

Although the description is vague, (they all have model numbers) I can tell you that all cabinet parts can be sourced on a hob that is only 3 years old. Do it now rather than later.

SMEG SE435X-1 60CM Electric hob. Keeps tripping fuse

It's possible that one of the burners stay on for a long time, which cause one of the wires to overheat, breaking the connection and touching the body of the unit, please turn the breaker off and check for a loose connection, replace the wiring if you feel confortable doing it yourself or contact a technician.

Replacing faulty regulator for hotplate

Remove hotplate and oven control knobs. Under the 2nd and 5th knobs is an extra screw which holds on the front cover. Unscrew these and free the cover then access is gained to the screws (2 on each edge) which removes the plate to which the regulators are fixed.Remove the faulty regulator by unscrewing it from the plate,(2 screws) It is an easy job then to install the new part taking care to put the correct wires on the correct terminals. Reassemble, job done!

Wiring for Neff Hob-not supplied/no wiring instructions

The details of how to wire the T1213 hob are printed on the base of the hob next to the terminal compartment. For a single cable installation, Neutral is connected to terminals 4 & 5 which should already be linked with a copper link. Terminals 1,2 & 3 should be linked together using the links supplied (hidden in the side of the terminal compartment) and Live is connected to any one of 1,2 or 3. The Earth goes to the terminal beside the cable clamp.
