When using Speakerphone, the call ends when I close the phone

If I am using the speakerphone with the phone open and then I close it, it hangs up the call. I tried searching in the phone for a possible option to change this setting but I havent found one.help  please

I've been very frustrated with the same issue; I don't want to buy Bluetooth, and I could just tuck my old phone in my coat collar or pocket with the speaker on - cheap handsfree driving! Searching online seems to indicate that other versions of the K1 have this feature - the K1m, for example. But the K1 I got from Cellular One/AT&T apparently doesn't. Today I sent an email directly to Motorola support, so I'll see what they say.

There's no normal option to change this, if you get into hacking in the phones configuration, you can change the phone to not disconnect when the flip is closed,
however, it will still mute the microphone, making it pretty much useless.

on the other hand, bluetooth headsets are getting cheaper every day *Grin*

Hi I am working at the Switchboard. I have a Panasonic KX-T7730 that is seven years old. Every office has an extension code and a name. I want to change the display names of the extensions as it still...

This has to be done on Ext 101, or whichever phone is the programming phone. Press program *#1234. Then enter in 004. Press Speakerphone. It should be asking for a jack number. You can press speakerphone again to go to the first ext. Spell out the name using the keypad (2 is A, B and C and so on). When done press the autodial/store button. Then you can press speakerphone to go to the next phone. To get out of programming just pick up and hang up your phone or press the program button.

Does it have a speaker phone for the LG CG225 Cingular cell phone?

Yes your phone has a speakerphone. Below is the instructions and I have included a link where you can d/l the user manual.

You can use the integrated Speakerphone during a call
by pressing the right soft key [Options] then select
Speaker On. The speakerphone indicator [ ] will
display on the display screen. The loudspeaker is
automatically deactivated when you end the call.

Here is the link for the free user manual download:

The Speakerphone is ON on my env3 and I don't know how to turn it OFF (or back on). Can you help me determine how to turn it OFF? Thanks, CRH

Open the flip and you'll see the speaker phone on/off button on the lower right of the keyboard. There is also a setting to have the speakerphone activate when you open the flip to answer a call.

To my knowledge, there is no way to answer a call with speakerphone active from the outside (closed) position.

My blitz's speaker phone wont work. and the open/close, on/off, and ringtones, wont work... help! ive gone thru all sound settings and everything is "on" i can hear my calls thru the regular handset...

Try these couple of things:
The speakerphone feature lets you hear audio through the speaker and
talk without holding the phone.
  1. To activate the speakerphone while in answering or calling modes,
press the Navigation Key to the right.
  2. The phone returns to normal (Speakerphone Off) after ending a call
or when the phone is turned off and back on.

To adjust the ringer, key tone, voice call and speaker phone volume levels:
1. Press left soft key [MENU] (7) (1) (2).
2. Select the type of volume you wish to adjust.
3. Select the desired volume level.
4. To confirm, press OK.

Let me know if this works for you or if I can help you with anything else.

How do I mute my MLS-34D when using Speakerphone?

5104,

The button that mutes the speakerphone is the mic/HFAI key located above your speaker button. The mic mute feature works while using the speaker, when the phone is idle it works as the handsfree answerback intercom.
hope that helps,

Cant find speakerphone and I have to unlock phone to end any call

The right soft key goes from h-free (handsfree) to H-held (speakerphone). Don't ask, it just works that way.

Cant use speakerphone when sync is closed

I've found that the speakerphone only works closed when using the media player. Close your phone then hold down the right side key and navigate with the left side key, use the right side key to select an option. When in the media player the hold button is the right side key hold down to toggle on or off. If that is the answer your looking for.
