Need to know how to install new radio in a 2001 mitsubishi eclipse

I have a 2001 mitsubishi eclipse gt and the cd player broke, so i went on ebay and bought a new one. the old one is a single cd, with am/fm. infinity with an amp. the new one is the same but it is a 4 disc cd player and cassette player, am/fm. need to know how to install new one, also there is some kind of anti theft code i know nothing about. i do have a security code card that came with my car, please help

    code!! wont work with new sterio there are serial numbers on back of new one take down serial and RM numbers and call mitsubishi they will give you new code and tell you how 2 enter new code into that sterio

Call 1888mitsu2001 and hit option #4, then hit * (star), give them the last 8 digits of your vin and they will provide the code for FREE.

DO NOT PAY FOR THE CODE ONLINE OR GO TO A DEALER (they will also charge).

    you will also need to provide the serial and part number of your radio (takes about 5 minutes to take apart an eclipse dash...1 screw in the bottom of the HVAC panel) if you call the 1888mitsu2001 it will provide basic instructions on how to accomplish this.

You need to see the dealer for information on the radio code. Also sue O'Reilly auto for improper installation of the new battery.

You need to see the dealer to sort this out. But ask why they didn't keep the system powered up wnen the battery is replaced, that avoids this problem as no memory or function is lost. Shame on whimever did this battery r and r

You need to have the code found by putting a scanner on it. That will cost you a diagnostic fee.

I own a 2003 mitsubishi spyder eclipse GT and my alarm fob broke off its key chain so I havent been using it lately (waiting for replacement). Today I went to use my car (unlocked and opened the door with the key) and the alarm activated. The car still starts but I have to wait till the alarm gos through its cycle before I drive anywhere (embarassment of course). How do I disengauge the alarm system till I get the new fob?
