When pressing scanner to computer button nothing happens

Yes follow the first steps to set up the scanner (charge it, properly insert the memory card, etc.) Then you are ready to scan
Once you press the SCAN button and the Green LED stays lit its time to roll the scanner down your document to be scanned. When finished press the Scan button again to STOP the scan. If successful your Document count in the display will move from 000 to 001. That is the only indication that you now have a successful scan.
Next Press and hold the SCAN button until the display goes blank.
Now you can remove the memory card (by pushing in and it will release). Place this memory card into a memory card reader on your computer to transfer and view your scanned documents. Rinse and repeat.

Update the software on your computer

Have you installed the software and unlocked the scanning mechanism?

the scanner doesnot work like that. when you load the all in one driver cd, the scanner driver loads with it. there should be a scanner icon somewhere on the desktop or in my computer. it onlt scans from the computer by putting the document on the glass and press scan button on computer and it will scan and save on the pc.

Have you also installed the software. You may have to use the scanner through windows, and not with the buttons on the scanner.
You may have just installed the twain drivers and not the software to be able to use buttons and advanced settings

The scan button requires proper setting of the program on the computer that tracks the state of that button.
Reinstall drivers (full installation).
Why not open My Computer, find the icon of the scanner and scan using Microsoft scanner or camera wizard?
You can also open MS Paint and scan using File / From scanner or camera.

Scan from the scanner and camera wizard, the front scan button is useless. Go to My computer, open the scanner icon and scan from there, no need to use the button at all.

plz check in my computer is your scanner is visible, if yes then right click on the scanner and select scan and follow the on screen suggestions,
if your scanner is not visible in my computer then you have to install it with the cd which come along with the scanner

Try uninstalling the printer/scanner completely, and the reinstalling the drivers again. Most problems is sorted out this way.

I SUGGEST DELEATING SCANNER FROM YOUR SYSTEM AND RELOADING THE SCANNER DRIVER FROM THE INSTALL DISC THAT CAME WITH YOUR SCANNER
