Code error E7

I'm not sure if NewAir is made by Gree -- they supply many. On Gree units, E7 simply means one unit is requesting heating while another is requesting cooling and you can't have both at the same time. So that's the first thing to check. Very simple, very common, doesn't indicate that anything is wrong with the system.

Hello im trying to trouble shoot two split systems the electrical wires were crossed for the two units I fixed it the compressors wont come on, wall unit says e7? This is on the Amcoraire ac split systems.

E7 indicates an "External Feedback Problem" which sounds like a communication problem. I believe there is a sensor cable that runs from the outdoor unit to the indoor unit also. Check that all cables are properly run to the appropriate unit and check all connections for tightness. Here is the link to a manual that includes installation and wiring instructions.

WE have Amcoraire Mini split unit heat pumps. One is

P 4 code means problem with the outdoor unit, Most likely low on refrigerant. Check all copper pipe connections for leaks first, then add refrigerant after checking pressures.

Low cool air

Because the model numbers are based on the country in which you bought the unit, you will have to do the research yourself on the error code for your unit. Once you find out what the error code is you can determine if low refrigerant caused the problem. Here is the contact info website to download your manual.
